The best Later alternatives for posting to more networks in 2026

The best Later alternatives in 2026 are Publer, Buffer, Zoho Social, OmniSocials, Metricool, Postiz, Vista Social and Refract. Later posts to Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, YouTube Shorts and Snapchat, but not to X, Bluesky or Mastodon; every pick below covers at least one of those. Publer suits Later users who want X, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram and WordPress next to Instagram and TikTok, from $5 per account a month. Buffer suits teams that want a simple calendar for Instagram plus X, Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon, priced per channel. Zoho Social suits brands that want 14 channels, including X, Bluesky, Mastodon and Threads, for one flat price per brand. OmniSocials suits small teams that want 13 networks, an inbox and approvals on one plan priced per seat. Metricool suits Later users who want a planner with deeper analytics, Bluesky, and a free plan that never expires. Postiz suits teams that post to many niche and community networks and want AI agents in their workflow. Vista Social suits teams that want Later's inbox, approvals and link in bio, plus Bluesky and Tumblr, at a higher price. Refract suits teams that want one note turned into a native post for each of the 10 networks it covers today, next to Later or after it.

1. Publer

A scheduler that plans, previews and auto-publishes posts from one calendar, priced per social account. It has a link-in-bio page (Linkie) on every plan, bulk scheduling of up to 500 posts from a CSV file, and a composer for threads on X, Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon.

Best for

Teams that want the widest mix of visual and text networks for a low price.

Not ideal for

  • Teams that want approvals, analytics or the API on the cheaper plan: those are on Business.
  • Teams that want a unified inbox: Publer has none, though you can reply to comments on published posts from within Publer.
  • Posting to X for free: X needs a paid plan.
  • Bluesky accounts on a custom server (PDS): only accounts hosted on Bluesky connect for now.

Networks

Facebook pages, groups and profiles, Instagram Business and Creator, TikTok, X (paid plans only), Threads, LinkedIn profiles and pages, Pinterest, Mastodon (any server), Google Business Profiles, YouTube, Telegram, Bluesky (accounts hosted on Bluesky) and WordPress.

Pricing

Free: 1 user, 3 social accounts (not X), 10 scheduled posts per account. Professional: $5 a month for one account, $4 billed yearly. Business: $10 a month for one account, $8 billed yearly, with approvals, analytics and API access. On both, the price grows with each extra account and member. Enterprise is quoted. Trials: 7 days on Professional, 14 on Business; the Business trial needs a card or PayPal.

Best for

Small teams moving from Later to a simpler tool that covers X and the open networks.

Not ideal for

  • Teams that need approvals on the cheaper plan: approvals are on Team, $12 per channel a month.
  • Instagram personal profiles and Facebook groups: those get reminders, not automatic posts.
  • Long-form YouTube videos: it posts Shorts.

Networks

Automatic publishing to Bluesky (including custom-domain handles and self-hosted servers), Facebook pages, Google Business Profiles, Instagram business and creator accounts, LinkedIn pages and profiles, Mastodon (any server), Pinterest, Threads, TikTok business profiles, YouTube Shorts and X.

Best for

Small businesses with one brand that want many networks for a flat price.

Not ideal for

  • Teams that need approvals or an inbox on a lower plan: both are on Premium.
  • Brands with two accounts on one network: a brand holds one profile per network.
  • Bluesky, Mastodon, Threads or TikTok on the free plan: it covers six channels without them.

Networks

One brand on Standard and up: X, Instagram, a Facebook Page, a LinkedIn Company Page and profile, Google Business Profile, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, Mastodon (pick a listed server or type another server's name), Threads, Bluesky, Snapchat and Arattai.

Pricing

USD prices from the price file Zoho's pricing page loads, since the page shows local currency. Free: 1 brand, 6 channels, 1 member. Standard: $15 a month, $10 billed yearly. Professional: $40, $30 billed yearly. Premium: $65, $40 billed yearly, 3 members, approvals and the inbox. 15-day free trial, no card.

4. OmniSocials

A scheduler with one flat plan per seat that posts to 13 networks and includes an inbox for 7 of them (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X and Threads), analytics, a public API and an MCP server. Each workspace is one brand or client, with one account per network.

Best for

Teams that want Later's approvals and inbox, plus the text networks, without choosing a tier.

Not ideal for

  • One brand with several accounts on the same network: a workspace connects one account per platform.
  • Replying on Bluesky or Mastodon from the inbox: the inbox doesn't cover them.
  • Long-form YouTube videos: it posts Shorts.
  • Frequent X posts with links: those cost credits.

Networks

Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn profile and page, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, X, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky (including self-hosted servers and custom-domain handles), Mastodon (any server), Google Business, Telegram and Discord.

Pricing

One plan: $12 per seat a month, or $10 billed yearly. Each extra workspace, team member or client seat costs the same. Unlimited scheduled posts. X usage costs credits, such as $0.20 for a post with a link, with 200 free credits to start. 14-day free trial, which needs a credit card; no free plan.

5. Metricool

A planner and analytics tool organized by brands, with one account per network in each brand. Paid plans keep unlimited analytics history and include multiple link-in-bio pages.

Best for

Teams that plan visually and report on results.

Not ideal for

  • Mastodon: it isn't among the networks you can connect.
  • Bluesky accounts on custom domains or other servers: only .bsky.social handles connect for now.
  • X without extra cost: X is a paid add-on.

Networks

Per brand: a Facebook Page, Instagram Business or Creator, Threads, X (paid add-on), Bluesky, LinkedIn (paid plans), Pinterest, TikTok, Google Business Profile, YouTube and Twitch, plus Meta, Google and TikTok Ads.

Pricing

Free: 1 brand, 20 posts a month, 30 days of analytics, no LinkedIn or X. Starter: $25 a month for up to 5 brands, $20 billed yearly. Advanced: $67 a month for 15 brands, $53 billed yearly, with approvals and the API. X is $10 a month per account. Its pages describe no trial; the free plan is the no-cost option.

Best for

Not ideal for

  • Teams that need formal approvals or a social inbox: we found neither on its pages.
  • Teams on the cheapest plan: Standard is a solo plan with 5 channels.
  • Teams without a developer for the free edition: you handle installs, updates and each network's app approvals yourself.

8. Refract

A social media scheduler where you write one note and an AI agent for each network writes a version that fits it. You approve each version and Refract schedules it. Per-network voice rules learn from your edits, and Studio makes images and video in each network's shape.

Best for

Teams adding open and community networks, who want each post rewritten for its network.

Not ideal for

  • Teams that answer comments and DMs from their scheduler: Refract has no social inbox.
  • Teams that want a free plan: there is only the 14-day free trial.
  • Teams that plan from an image grid: Refract starts from a written note, and the AI-first workflow may be more than you need.
  • Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X and Google Business aren't available yet.

Networks

Posts to 10 networks today: Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, WordPress, Discord, Tumblr, Slack, Pixelfed and DEV. Coming soon: Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X and Google Business.

Pricing

Creator $12 a month ($10 a month billed yearly); Business $29 a month ($24 a month billed yearly); Agency $59 a month ($49 a month billed yearly); Agency Plus $119 a month ($99 a month billed yearly). Unlimited scheduled posts on every plan, a 14-day free trial, and the API, MCP server and webhooks on every plan.

How we evaluated.

We compared each tool on what someone leaving Later weighs: which networks it publishes to beyond Instagram and TikTok, with X, Bluesky, Mastodon and Threads checked one by one, how the price grows (per account, seat, brand or plan), where approvals and an inbox start, and whether there is a free plan or a trial. Every fact about another tool comes from that tool's own pricing page or help center, listed under sources, and was checked on October 27, 2026.
Later is the baseline. It prices by social sets of one profile per supported network. Starter costs $25 a month, or $18.75 billed yearly, for 1 set, 1 user and up to 30 posts per profile. Growth costs $50, or $37.50 billed yearly, and adds 2 users, approvals and a social inbox. Paid plans have a 14-day trial that needs a credit card; the pricing page lists no free plan, but Later's help center describes a limited Free plan for creators. Later ended X support on August 28, 2025, and lists Bluesky and Mastodon as unsupported. If you post mainly to Instagram and TikTok and like its link in bio, Later is still a good fit.
Publer ranks first because it adds X, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram and WordPress to the networks Later covers, prices per account from $5 a month, and has a free plan. Buffer is second: a simple per-channel tool that covers the same text networks, with a free plan. Zoho Social is third for 14 channels per brand at a flat price. OmniSocials is fourth: approvals and an inbox (for 7 of its 13 networks, not Bluesky or Mastodon) on one per-seat plan. Metricool is fifth: strong on analytics and planning, but without Mastodon, and X is an add-on. Postiz lists the most networks here but suits technical teams best, and Vista Social is the closest match to Later's team features at a higher price.
Refract is last on this page, and that is deliberate. Its workflow is different: you write one note, an AI agent for each network writes a native version, you approve each version, and Refract schedules it, with approvals on the Business plan and up and unlimited scheduled posts on every plan. But it posts to 10 networks today, and Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X and Google Business are still coming soon. It has no social inbox and no free plan. Choose it as a second tool for the networks Later doesn't cover, not as a replacement while the networks you use on Later are still coming soon.
We left out Hootsuite and Agorapulse, which price per user from $99 and $79 a month billed yearly, SocialBee, whose Mastodon support is reminder-only, and Nuelink, whose approval workflow is marked as coming soon.

Questions and answers.

Does Later post to X, Bluesky or Mastodon?

No. Later ended X support on August 28, 2025, and its help center lists Bluesky and Mastodon as unsupported. Every tool on this list posts to at least one of them. Refract posts to Bluesky (Yes) and Mastodon (Yes) on any server you enter.

What is the cheapest Later alternative?

Publer's Professional plan costs $5 per account a month, or $4 billed yearly, and Buffer's Essentials costs $6 per channel, or $5 billed yearly. Zoho Social's Standard plan is $10 a month billed yearly for one brand of 14 channels. Publer, Buffer, Zoho Social and Metricool also have free plans.

Which Later alternatives have a link in bio?

Buffer has Start Page and Publer has Linkie on every plan, Metricool has link-in-bio pages on paid plans, and Vista Social has Vista Page on every plan.

Which alternatives include approvals and an inbox, like Later's Growth plan?

OmniSocials includes both in its single plan, though its inbox doesn't cover Bluesky or Mastodon. Vista Social has both, Zoho Social has both on Premium, and Buffer has approvals on Team and a comment inbox on every plan. Refract has approvals on its Business plan and up, but no social inbox.

Can Refract replace Later today?

Only if the networks you rely on are live. Refract posts to 10 networks today (Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, WordPress, Discord, Tumblr, Slack, Pixelfed and DEV), and Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X and Google Business are coming soon. Until then, you can use it next to Later for the networks Later doesn't cover. See pricing and the image size guide.
