Social media image sizes
Most networks take a 1080×1080 square image (1:1) or a 1080×1350 portrait (4:5). Vertical posts for TikTok, Reels and Shorts use 1080×1920 (9:16), and link previews 1200×628 (1.91:1). The table below gives each network’s best image size, the other shapes it takes, its file size limit and formats.

What is the best image size for social media?
It depends on the network: 1080×1080 (1:1) works on most networks, 1080×1350 (4:5) takes more of a phone screen in feeds, and 1080×1920 (9:16) fills the screen on TikTok.

Can one photo fit every network?
