Best for

Writers and founders who cross-post short text to Bluesky, Mastodon, Threads, X and LinkedIn.

  • Video and image-led networks: no TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest or Facebook.
  • Analytics outside X: the analytics section covers X only.
  • A social inbox: none is offered.

Networks

X, Bluesky, LinkedIn, Threads, Mastodon and Substack Notes. Typefully's pages don't say whether any Mastodon server works.

Pricing

Free plan with 1 social set, 1 user and 10 posts a month. Creator is $99 a year, annual billing only, with 1,000 posts a month. Business is $18 a month per social set billed yearly or $20 billed monthly, with unlimited users.

Best for

Bluesky and fediverse posters who want follower analytics next to scheduling.

Not ideal for

  • Large free queues: the free plan holds up to 10 scheduled posts at a time.
  • Big accounts on the cheaper plans: Publish and Grow cap combined followers at 100,000.
  • Teams on a budget: Publish and Grow include 1 user; unlimited users, teams and approvals start on Research ($79 a month billed yearly).

Networks

Bluesky, Facebook, Google Business, Instagram, LinkedIn, Mastodon, PeerTube, Pinterest, Pixelfed, Telegram, Threads, TikTok, Tumblr, X and YouTube. TikTok and YouTube need a paid plan.

Pricing

Free plan with 12 accounts, 1 per platform. Publish is $10 a month billed yearly or $15 monthly; Grow is $19 or $29; Research is $79 or $129. The inbox starts on Grow, and approvals and the publishing API on Research. No trial; the free plan needs no card.

3. Buffer

A simple social media scheduler with analytics, a comment inbox and an AI assistant, priced per connected channel. Its help center says custom-domain and self-hosted PDS Bluesky accounts work, and that you can connect any Mastodon server.

Best for

Individuals and small teams who want a plain calendar and pay only for the channels they use.

Not ideal for

  • Several users on the cheaper plans: Free and Essentials include 1 user.
  • Many channels on a small budget: the price rises with each channel.
  • Approvals on the cheaper plan: content approval is on Team only.

Networks

Bluesky, Facebook pages, Google Business, Instagram, LinkedIn, Mastodon (any server), Pinterest, Threads, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and X.

Pricing

Free plan for up to 3 channels with 10 scheduled posts per channel. Essentials is $6 per channel a month, or $5 billed yearly; Team is $12, or $10 billed yearly. 14-day free trial on paid plans.

Best for

Solo creators and small businesses who want many networks and bulk scheduling at a low price.

Not ideal for

  • Bluesky accounts on a custom PDS: only accounts hosted on Bluesky itself can connect.
  • A long free queue: the free plan has 10 scheduled posts per account.
  • API access on cheaper plans: it is limited to eligible Business and Enterprise customers.
  • A unified inbox: there is none; you can reply to comments on published posts from Publer.

Facebook, Instagram, X (paid plans only), LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google Business, YouTube, WordPress, TikTok, Telegram, Mastodon (all servers), Threads and Bluesky (accounts hosted on Bluesky).

Pricing

Free plan with 3 social accounts (not X) and 10 scheduled posts per account. Professional is $5 a month for 1 account, $4 billed yearly; Business is $10, $8 billed yearly. The price grows with each extra account and member. 7-day trial on Professional and 14-day trial on Business; the Business trial needs a card or PayPal.

5. OmniSocials

A scheduler with one per-seat plan that posts to 13 networks and includes approvals, analytics, a public API, an MCP server and an inbox for 7 of those networks. Bluesky accounts on bsky.social, self-hosted PDS servers and custom-domain handles all work, with no app password.

Best for

Small teams that post to Bluesky, Mastodon and Threads and want approvals without plan tiers.

Not ideal for

  • Replying on Bluesky or Mastodon: the inbox covers Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X and Threads only.
  • Several accounts on one network: each workspace connects one account per platform.
  • Anyone who wants a free plan: there is a 14-day trial only, and it needs a card.
  • Heavy X posting with links: those posts cost usage credits.

Networks

Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, X, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon (any server), Google Business, Telegram and Discord.

Pricing

One plan: $10 per seat a month billed yearly, or $12 billed monthly, with unlimited scheduled posts. Extra workspaces and team members cost the same per seat. 14-day free trial; a credit card is needed to start it.

6. Refract

A social media scheduler where you write one note and an AI agent for each network writes a version that fits it. You approve each version and Refract schedules it. Per-network voice rules learn from your edits, and Studio makes images and video in each network's shape.

Best for

Writers and small teams who post the same idea to Bluesky and Mastodon and want each version written for its network, then approved before it goes out.

Not ideal for

  • Anyone who wants a free plan: Refract has a 14-day free trial only.
  • Replying to comments and mentions: there is no social inbox.
  • Posting the exact same text everywhere: the AI-first workflow may be more than you need.
  • Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X and Google Business aren't available yet.

Networks

Posts to 10 networks today: Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, WordPress, Discord, Tumblr, Slack, Pixelfed and DEV. Coming soon: Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X and Google Business.

Pricing

Creator $12 a month ($10 a month billed yearly); Business $29 a month ($24 a month billed yearly); Agency $59 a month ($49 a month billed yearly); Agency Plus $119 a month ($99 a month billed yearly). Unlimited scheduled posts on every plan, a 14-day free trial, and the API, MCP server and webhooks on every plan.

7. Postiz

An AI-agent scheduler with a hosted cloud and a free, open-source edition under the AGPL-3.0 license. It posts to 30+ networks. On the cloud, its Mastodon connection works with any instance; a self-hosted install connects to one instance that you set.

Best for

Developers and fediverse users who want to self-host, or to let AI agents schedule posts through an API and MCP server.

Not ideal for

  • A low entry price on the cloud: plans start at $29 a month.
  • Small teams on the entry plan: Standard is a solo plan.
  • Approvals or a social inbox: neither was found on the official pages.

Networks

X, LinkedIn, Facebook Pages, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, Bluesky, Mastodon, Lemmy, Nostr, Telegram, Discord, Slack and more, 30+ in all.

Pricing

Standard is $29 a month, or $23 billed yearly, for 5 channels; Team is $39, or $31, for 10 channels and unlimited members. 7-day free trial; no permanent free tier on the cloud, but the self-hosted edition is free.

How we evaluated.

We started from every scheduler whose own site says it publishes to Bluesky, then ranked them for people and small teams who post to Bluesky next to Mastodon and Threads. We weighed four Bluesky details: whether a tool says it supports custom-domain handles and self-hosted PDS servers, whether it can schedule threads, whether it helps with alt text, and whether it also posts to Mastodon and Threads. Price, a free plan or trial, and team features came next. Every fact about another tool comes from its own pricing page, help center or changelog, listed under sources, and was checked on October 27, 2026.
Character counting matters on Bluesky because a post tops out at 300 characters, far shorter than Mastodon or LinkedIn. A tool that cross-posts one text everywhere leaves the trimming to you. You can check any draft with the free Bluesky character counter, and the Bluesky page covers how Refract handles the network.
Typefully ranks first because it is built for text, says it supports custom PDS servers and custom-domain handles, posts to Bluesky, Mastodon and Threads, offers AI image descriptions for alt text, and has a free plan. Fedica comes second for its Bluesky and fediverse focus, threads and polls on the free plan, and AI alt text; its follower caps and one user on Publish and Grow hold it back for teams. Buffer and Publer follow as low-cost queues with free plans. Buffer says custom-domain handles, self-hosted PDS accounts and any Mastodon server work. Publer supports Mastodon accounts on all servers but connects only Bluesky accounts hosted on Bluesky, and it has no unified inbox. OmniSocials suits small teams that need approvals, and it states both custom-domain support and any Mastodon server, but its inbox does not cover Bluesky or Mastodon, and it has no free plan.
Refract sits sixth. It posts to Bluesky and to any Mastodon server, and checks each version against that network's limit in the composer, so a 300-character Bluesky post and a longer Mastodon post come from the same note. It has no free plan and no social inbox, and for Threads, which matters to this audience, its status today is "Coming soon". Postiz is seventh: its cloud connects to any Mastodon instance and it can be self-hosted for free, but the cloud starts at a higher price and its entry plan is for one person.
We left out tools that post to Bluesky but fit this audience less well. Metricool only connects Bluesky accounts on bsky.social, not custom domains or other providers, and has no Mastodon. Hootsuite ($99 per user a month billed yearly), Agorapulse ($79 per user a month billed yearly) and Vista Social ($80 a month billed yearly for 2 users) are team suites, and none lists Mastodon. SocialBee posts to Bluesky but only sends Mastodon reminders. Later does not support Bluesky. Zoho Social, Nuelink and Schedulin also post to Bluesky and are worth a look if their prices suit you.

Questions and answers.

How do I schedule Bluesky posts?

Connect your Bluesky account to a scheduler, write the post, pick a time and the tool publishes it for you. Some tools ask for a Bluesky app password, others use a normal sign-in. Check the length first: Bluesky posts top out at 300 characters, and the Bluesky character counter shows how much room you have.

Is there a free Bluesky scheduler?

Yes. Typefully, Fedica, Buffer and Publer each list a free plan that includes Bluesky, with limits on posts or queued posts. Postiz can be self-hosted for free if you run your own server. Refract has a free trial but no free plan.

Do Bluesky schedulers work with custom-domain handles?

Some say so. Typefully, Buffer and OmniSocials state that custom-domain handles and self-hosted PDS accounts work. Publer connects only accounts hosted on Bluesky, not custom PDS accounts, and Metricool says it only connects accounts on bsky.social for now. For the others, the pages we checked do not say, so test with a trial before you commit.

Can I schedule a Bluesky thread?

Several tools say they can. Fedica schedules threads on its free plan, Publer has a threads composer for Bluesky and Mastodon, and OmniSocials lists posts and threads for Bluesky. For the others, check their composer during a trial.

Which tool posts to Bluesky, Mastodon and Threads together?

Typefully, Fedica, Buffer, Publer, OmniSocials and Postiz all list Bluesky, Mastodon and Threads. Refract posts to Bluesky and Mastodon today; see the Mastodon page for how it handles servers, and the table above for whether Threads is live yet.
